Transferring Tickets

Send tickets you own to someone else by email. They have to accept before the ticket moves to their account.

Before you transfer

  • The recipient needs an account (or can create one on the accept page).
  • Pending transfers expire after 7 days if not accepted.
  • After they accept, the ticket leaves your account for good — only transfer to someone you trust.
  • For group-order guest assignments, use Group Portal instead of a peer transfer.

Send a transfer

Single ticket

  1. Log in and open My Tickets.
  2. Click the order with the ticket.
  3. Click Transfer on the ticket row.
  4. Enter the recipient's email address.
  5. Add a personal message if you want.
  6. Confirm to send.

Multiple tickets

  1. Open the order in My Tickets.
  2. Click Transfer Tickets or select tickets and use Transfer Selected Tickets (from Order Summary when shown).
  3. Choose which tickets to include.
  4. Enter the recipient's email and confirm.

They get an email with Accept Transfer. Until they accept, the ticket stays in your account and shows Transfer Pending.

Cancel a pending transfer

Only works before they accept:

  1. Go to My Account → Ticket Transfers.
  2. In Transfer History, find the pending outbound transfer.
  3. Click Cancel Transfer and confirm.

From the order page: click Cancel Transfer on a ticket marked Transfer Pending.

The ticket comes back to your account right away.

View transfer history

  1. Go to My Account → Ticket Transfers.
  2. Review inbound and outbound transfers.

If something goes wrong

Recipient didn't get the email.

Check the email address in transfer history. Ask them to check spam or look under Ticket Transfers while logged in. Send a new transfer if the old one expired.

Transfer button disabled.

The ticket may already be pending transfer, not transferable for this event, or in a bad state. Read any message on the button.

They accepted but ticket isn't in their wallet.

They need to add the pass from My Tickets on their own account. You can't add it to their wallet from your phone after transfer.

Wrong email used.

Cancel if it's still pending. If they already accepted, they need to transfer it back or contact the organizer.

See Accepting a Transfer for the recipient side.
