Accepting a Ticket Transfer

When someone transfers a ticket to you, you'll get an email with a link. You can also accept from notifications while logged in.

Accept from email

  1. Open the transfer email.
  2. Click Accept Transfer (or open the link from the email).
  3. On the Ticket Transfer page, review Transfer Details — event, seat, sender, expiry.
  4. Enter the ticket holder name if asked (name on the pass).
  5. Check the terms checkbox (required — Accept Transfer stays disabled until you do).
  6. Click Accept Transfer.
  7. Open My Tickets and add the pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Accept while logged in

  1. Open the link while signed in.
  2. Review details, fill in holder name and terms checkbox.
  3. Click Accept Transfer.

From notifications

  1. Click the notification bell.
  2. Select View & Accept Transfer on the pending alert.
  3. Complete the form on the transfer page.

From Ticket Transfers tab

  1. Go to My Account → Ticket Transfers.
  2. Find the inbound pending transfer.
  3. Click Accept and follow the prompts.

Create an account to accept

If you're not logged in when you open the link:

  1. Click Log In or Create Account on the transfer page.
  2. Log in or register (email → Continue → password → Sign in — see Creating an Account).
  3. Return to the transfer page if needed.
  4. Accept so the ticket saves to your account.

Use the same email the sender used if you can.

Reject a transfer

  1. Open the transfer link.
  2. Click Reject Transfer.
  3. Confirm.

The ticket goes back to the sender. You won't get the ticket in your account.

Transfer expiry

Transfers expire 7 days after they're sent if you don't accept or reject. After that:

  • The ticket returns to the sender automatically.
  • The link shows expired or invalid — you can't reuse it.
  • Ask the sender to send a new transfer.
Type Typical link Guide
Peer transfer Email from another fan This page
Group guest claim /group-claim/{token} Group Portal
Distribution link /distribute-ticket/{token} Ticket Links & Claims
Free ticket / voucher /claim/{uuid} or /voucher/{uuid} Ticket Links & Claims

A QR code from the sender opens the same accept or claim page — scan it, then log in or register.

If something goes wrong

Accept Transfer button stays disabled.

Check the terms checkbox and fill in the ticket holder name if the field is shown.

"Transfer expired" or "invalid".

Ask the sender to send a new transfer. Expired links can't be reused.

Accepted but ticket not visible.

Refresh My Tickets, log out and back in, and confirm you accepted on the right account.

Sender shared a QR code instead of email.

Scan the code, open the page in your browser, and follow the same accept steps.

See Managing Your Tickets after you accept.
